    Global Economic Development: Growing and Sustainable refers to a concept that encompasses sustainable economic growth on a global scale, taking into consideration long-term environmental, social, and economic aspects. The main objective is to achieve sustainable economic prosperity without compromising environmental balance and social well-being.

    Global Economic Development pertains to the process of economic growth and change at the global level. It involves interactions and relationships among various countries and regions worldwide in terms of trade, investment, capital flows, technology, and the exchange of human resources. The goal of global economic development is to achieve strong and sustainable economic growth across the world. Strong and sustainable economic growth is necessary to enhance the well-being of societies globally. Sustainable economic growth leads to increased income, the creation of new jobs, and improved access to essential resources and services. Sustainable economic growth also contributes to increased investment, innovation, and productivity.

    Sustainable economic growth drives innovation and technological advancements. When countries create an environment conducive to research and development, and promote investments in science and technology, they can accelerate progress in various sectors such as renewable energy, sustainable transportation, and digitization, which in turn can enhance economic efficiency and productivity.

    The significance of growing and sustainable economic growth is tied to the long-term goal of achieving social, economic, and environmental sustainability worldwide. By adopting sustainable approaches, the global community can build a better and more equitable future for all segments of society.

    Based on the provided background, the Faculty of Economics at Bangka Belitung University, in collaboration with the Goodwood Conference, will be organizing a high-level international conference titled the 3rd Universitas Bangka Belitung Business and Economics Conference (UBBBEC) 2023. The conference will revolve around the theme "Global Economic Development: Growing And Sustainable". This event will be conducted online on November 1, 2023.

    In general, UBBBEC provides a prestigious platform for researchers within the field of economics from all around the world to engage in discussions, share their research findings, and exchange information and knowledge.

    Perry Warjiyo

    Perry Warjiyo The Governor of Bank Indonesia

    Perry Warjiyo was born in Sukoharjo in 1959. Studying at the Faculty of Economics, Gajah Mada University (UGM) Yogyakarta in 1982, Perry Warjiyo continued his education at Iowa State University until he earned a Master's degree in 1989 and earned a Ph.D in 1991. Perry Warjiyo served as Governor of Bank Indonesia for the 2018-2023 period and was later re-appointed as Governor of Bank Indonesia for the 2023-2028 period. Prior to returning to Bank Indonesia in 2009, Perry Warjiyo held an important position for 2 years as Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), representing 13 member countries that were members of the South-East Asia Voting Group in 2007-2009. His love for science has inspired Perry Warjiyo to write and has published a number of books, journals and papers in the fields of economics, finance and international issues. Some of his phenomenal books are Central Bank Policy Mix: Issues, Challenges, and Policy Responses (2020), Central Bank Policy: Theory and Practice (2016), and Monetary Policy in Indonesia (2003).

    Ahmad Dani Virsal

    Ahmad Dani Virsal President Director of PT Timah Tbk

    Ahmad Dani Virsal Department of Mine Geology at Sriwijaya University in 1996 and continued his education at the Bandung Institute of Technology with a Master of Business Management degree in 2013. Prior to being appointed as President Director of PT Timah Tbk, he was entrusted with serving at several PT TIMAH Tbk group companies including as President Director of PT Dok & Shipping Air Kant in 2021-2023 and currently serves as President Director of PT Timah Investasi Mineral.

    Prof. Dr Haslinda Yusoff

    Prof. Dr Haslinda Yusoff Dean at Faculty of Accountancy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia

    Prof. Dr Haslinda Yusoff He received his Masters in Accounting from Curtin University, Australia, and obtained his PhD from the University of South Australia, Adelaide. His research interests are in areas related to corporate social and environmental reporting, sustainability management and practice, and business and government ethics. He has published research papers in scientific journals including high impact journals and conferences, both nationally and internationally. He is a member of the editorial and review board of Issues in Social Environmental Accounting, a journal published by the Indonesian Social and Social Center for Environmental Accounting Research and Development (ICSEARD) and is frequently invited as a reviewer for journals including the Asian Review of Accounting, Journal of Financial Reporting and Accounting, British Accounting Review and Corporate Social Responsibility & Environmental Management. He has also won several CSR related innovation awards and his research papers have been selected as 50 high qualitysubject-specific reading lists from Emerald's cross-disciplinary journals and books around the world in Reading List Assist 2011.

    Prof. Zhou Shaojie

    Prof. Zhou Shaojie Tsinghua University, China

    Prof. Zhou Shaojie graduated from the School of Public Policy & Management, Tsinghua University, China in 2022 and completed his Ph.D in 2007 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Some of the awards received include Dr. Werner Jackst？dt Best Paper Award for Chinese Economic and Business Studies 2010, China Economic Quarterly in 2010, Best thesis Award, School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University in 2002 and Excellent Graduate Award, Tsinghua University in 2002.

    Assoc. Prof. Ts. Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Zailani Abdullah The man who completed his master degree in Computer Science (E-Commerce) at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Computer Science (Data Mining) at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.
